An Orientation Program for First-Year Students Was Held at the Erbaa Faculty of Health Sciences

An orientation program was held at the Erbaa Faculty of Health Sciences for first-year students starting in the Health Management and Nursing Departments during the 2026-2027 academic year.

The program, attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Fatih POLAT, the Vice Dean, Associate Professor Dr. Ergin TEMEL, the Head of the Nursing Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Gülçin DEMİRDİL, first-year student advisors, and academic staff, provided information to facilitate the students' adaptation to university life and the faculty.

During the program, students were given general information about Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, the Erbaa Campus, and our faculty, as well as information about the educational processes, academic and administrative procedures of the Health Management and Nursing Departments. Furthermore, students were informed about the academic processes they should be aware of throughout their university life, student rights and responsibilities, course and examination processes, counseling services, and various opportunities offered by the university.

The orientation program also included general information about Erbaa district, where students pursue their education, and introduced the social, cultural, and daily life opportunities of the district.

The program contributed to students' easier adaptation to university life both academically and socially, while also strengthening communication between students and academic staff. At the end of the program, students were wished success in the new academic year.
